In particular, ICDS coordinated a regional program on corporate social responsibility for sustainable competitiveness. This regional program seeks to collaborate in the process of the development of competitive advantages at the macro level as well at the micro (business) level, and achieve a high-quality participation in international markets. The program emphasizes aspects such as business ethics, environmental and labor competencies, human rights, stakeholder engagement and corporate citizenship, always with the goal of impacting the public policy discussion and the necessary formation of a critical mass that makes this possible.
Another major endeavor is ALIARSE, which is a program centered on the creation and promotion of public-private partnerships for sustainability, equality and development. With the awareness of the economic challenges and social and environmental issues that Latin America faces. ALIARSE serves as a catalyst to facilitate public-private interaction in the pursuit of the common good. Through its actions ALIARSE helps strengthen a culture committed to social responsibility for sustainable development in Latin America.
